Research peptide purity and HPLC testing
What HPLC purity figures mean and why third-party testing matters for research material.
What HPLC purity means
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates the components of a sample so the proportion of the target peptide can be measured. A ≥99% figure means the peptide makes up at least 99% of the material by that method.
Why third-party testing
Independent testing adds a check beyond the manufacturer's own figures. StarTide products are third-party HPLC tested.
Reading a purity figure
Purity is one signal of research-material quality alongside correct identity, handling and storage.
